Profile: The color is between gold and copper, reminiscent of an old sweet wine. The nose is very expressive, with faded rose, orange blossom, dried apricot and oriental spices. The palate is slender, stretched by great tension, while offering a round, ample, very ripe material, with a soft, almost fatty texture. The overall balance is very successful. The finish is tonic and concentrated, mixing a muscat aromatic with noble bitters on the apricot kernel.

Profile: The color is dark translucent garnet. The nose is fine, complex, on stewed plum, leather, dried orange peel ... and lots of other things (including a hint of volatile). The palate is just as fine, tense, with a silky and fresh material gradually gaining in density, and a decadent aromatic, marrying a vibrant fruit with tertiary notes. The finish delivers a fine tasty chew, with a return to the plum enhanced by citrus peel and spices.

LONGARICO
Origin: Italy, Sicily
Type: Red
Grape Varietal: 80% Syrah, 20% Nerello Mascalese
ABV: 12.5%

Profile: Deep, fruit-driven and jammy; filled with ripe, rich fruit and a plethora of spices.

Process: Maceration on the skins for about 6 days, fermentation without temperature control. 6 months in oak chestnut.

ALEXANDRE GIQUEL

Profile: This is a dry white wine with both texture and personality aplenty. It’s herbal, it’s smoky, it’s (burnt) buttery and it’s slipped with lemony, slatey, pear-like fruit. Superb texture with just a touch of residual sugar to add complexity. The acidity is well integrated and gives this wine such a great lift. A Chenin that can be drunk alone, but would also benefit from a solid food pairing.

THE HERMIT RAM
Origin: New Zealand, North Canterbury

Profile: Full golden colour, this is beautifully salty and fruity with pineapple, pear, ripe apple and some grapefruit. Dense and ripe with nice intensity and a lovely tangy edge from some Flor involvement.

Process: This is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling from organic vineyards in North Canterbury. They are fermented whole bunch. Some is aged in stainless steel, some in amphora, and two barrels are filled and left untopped to develop a layer of flor.

REMI POUJOL

Profile: A fresh, fruity and balanced wine.

Process: Grapes that come from old vineyards located on limestone and limestone soils. Fermentation and aging in fiberglass. Without added sulphites.

Profile: Lots of white fruit on the nose and aromatics with some salinity on the palate; minerals and white peach.

Process: After a direct, soft and slow pressing, the wine settles in vats to be cleared out of some of its lees and sediments. The fermentation starts in stainless steel vats, and finishes in barrels on its fine lees to end the sugars. The wine and its lees are stirred daily, and then spend 10 months in barrels to age.

Profile: It marries an unending and electric freshness with a voluptuous and dynamic minerality: arctic berries, graphite and vegetable notes dance with spicy and balsamic overtones.

Process: Made from a blend of carefully selected Merlot and a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon, with the exact proportion varying every year, with shorter maceration than his other, more aged reds and no less than 24 months of elevage in large barrels and steel.

ORIOL ARTIGAS

Origin: Spain, Cataluña

Grape Varietal: Garnatxa Negra (Red Grenache),Syrah, Merlot
ABV: 13.5%

Profile: A fruity, sophisticated, and delicate wine. It boasts a potent bouquet, with ripe red fruit aromas underscored by hints of spices. On the palate, it is smooth, vibrant, and highly expressive.

Process: Harvest is performed by hand. On they arrive at the winery, the Merlot grapes are pressed directly, the Grenache is destemmed and the Syrah is left intact. Then, they are stomped and left to macerate for 5 days with the skins. The grapes ferment in stainless steel deposits with native yeasts. Once the fermentation has ended, the wine rests on its fine lees for 10 months in the same deposits. It is bottled without clarifying nor stabilising or filtering and without added sulphur.

L'ARCO

Origin: Italy, Veneto

Profile: A beautiful little introduction to Valpolicella wines. It is a medium-bodied red for all meals and has great drinkability. A wine for people looking for smoothness and softness (but great spiciness and complexity!).

L'ARCO⁠

Grape Varietal: 60% Corvina, 30% Rondinella, 10% Molinara, Sangiovese
ABV: 15%

Profile: Meticulous grape selection and aging develops flavors of bing cherry, dried raspberries, fig, fresh herbs, and compelling baking spice. The bright, lush fruit flavors allude to sweetness with a balance of acidity that creates a crowd pleasing experience.

Process: The grapes are traditionally dried; finally the wine is aged for 3 years in Slavonia oak.

Grape Varietal: 15% Rondinella, 30% Corvina, 40% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Molinara

Profile: A savory beast, with a burst of smoke and crushed rocks giving way to white pepper-tinged black cherries and wild herbs. It sweeps across the palate with silky textures and polished wild berry fruits, propelled by zesty acidity as salty mineral tones saturate toward the close. It finishes saline and youthfully tannic yet still quite fresh, leaving rosy inner florals and a chalky sensation that lingers on and on.

REMI POUJOL

Profile: A bright and juicy warm weather red from one of Languedoc's most respected natural wine producers.

Process: Spontaneously fermented and aged in neutral oak for a short time prior to being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.

DORMILONA

Origin: Australia, Margaret River

Profile: Gentle green capsicum, stems, and spice on the nose. Beautiful blackcurrants, cassis plum in the mouth. Medium body, so elegant and fresh with subtle tannins. Lovely from the moment you open it, but even more gorgeous after it’s had some time to breathe.

Process: Hand-harvested grapes then de-stemmed into Italian Amphora. Plunged daily by feet & hands then sits to macerate on skins for 5 months, Basket pressed off skins back to Amphora allowing it to settle before hand bottling on a bright sunny fruit day.

NICOLAS CHEMARIN

Profile: A smooth red wine with aromas of black fruits, accompanied by earthy notes and hints of leather. The palate is delicate, generous and full-bodied. A wine with bright acidity, integrated tannins and a long and pleasant finish.

DOMAINE ROC DES ANGES

Profile: A dark cedar in colour. On the nose scents of cassis and black cherry with a hint of chocolate. On the palate fresh and lively with smoky notes and further spicy black fruit flavours. The tannins are complex yet discreet and the finish fresh and lingering. 

Process: Mostly destemmed, though whole bunch is used and varies on the vintage but not usually more than 10%. Ambient yeast fermentation with pieds de cuve in closed concrete tanks for 7 days, then pressed and racked back to tank to finish fermentation. No temperature control. No punching down or pump overs. Aged in tank for approximately 10 months. No fining, light filtration.

PETER RADOVIC

Origin: Italy, Carso

ABV: 12.5%

Profile: Intense ruby red color, with purple reflections on the edge which suggest a still young wine. The initial bouquet is floral, with notes of red roses and peonies, followed by hints of blackberries and woody hints of dry leaves, moss and pine needles. In the mouth it is characterized by a lively acidity, resulting juicy and deep, very pleasant thanks to thin and elegant tannins.

Process: Fermentation in stone tanks. Maturation of 12 months in used oak barriques, followed by 12 months in steel tanks. 6 months in bottle.

KOERNER

Origin: Australia, Clare Valley
Type: Red
Grape Varietal: 37% Sangiovese, 29% Grenache, 25% Sciacarello 5% Malbec and 4% Carignan

Profile: A bright, clean wine with flavours of red fruits, rosehip, red cherry and a little peppercorn and spice. 

Process: Destem retaining ~ 50% whole berries, no whole bunch. Natural ferment in open top steel fermenters, hand plunged twice daily.

FRÉDÉRIC BROUCA

Profile: A hint of musk, or animale as we say is joined by char, tar, grilled herbs and roses just past their prime. But freshness is not compromised and red fruit is front and centre.

Process: Unfined, unfiltered with minimal sulfur added at bottling.

Profile: From a blend of different plots of Cabernet Franc, the wine is fruity with an elegant and smooth texture and lively aromas.

Process: The vinification is always a mix of pellicular and carbonic macération so that we can keep the freshness and fluidity.

Profile: Dry and lightly fizzy, with the easy drinkability of a Provencal rosé, but more fresh fruit on the nose. Its got amped red and blue berries, earth, vibrant acidity, and a touch of rustic barnyard on the finish to ground you.
