Profile: Crunchy blackberries, raisiny plums and tart cherries form the backbone of fruit on this dynamic and boldly flavoured red. Some moderate tannins underpin mild acidity through a very dry finish.

Process: A wicked blend of equal parts Barbera and Dolcetto from prized 60-year-old vines. The grapes in this blend are usually used for two of degli Ulivi's top red labels but in vintages not up to par are reclassified into this delicious, crunchy red. This wine matures for 1 year on its lees in oak barrels and is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Profile: Dry and bold, citrus notes with a smokey finish. Very ripe, but not very tannic. It has a nice balance carried by the acidity of the vintage.

Process: De-steming, regular remontage, several years of maceration in the tank, no filtration.

Profile: Ripe red fruit on the nose; the palate is full of juicy raspberry and cranberry characters with a pomegranate edge. Light and bright with lovely complexity.

Process: Hand harvested & gently pressed. Held on skins for a short period of time in concrete eggs and open fermenters before being pressed off to seasoned French oak puncheons.

Profile: It presents itself as a structured wine with aromas of small red fruits and ripe plums. Its vigorous tannins give it a great ageing potential. Stefano Bellotti, describes it as a wine “rustic and wild in its youth, which transforms into a elegant man as the years go by”.

Process: Skin contact for 40 days. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak foudres. Aged for 16 months in oak foudres.

Profile: Gentle green capsicum, stems, and spice on the nose. Beautiful blackcurrants, cassis plum in the mouth. Medium body, so elegant and fresh with subtle tannins. Lovely from the moment you open it, but even more gorgeous after it’s had some time to breathe.

Process: Hand-harvested grapes then de-stemmed into Italian Amphora. Plunged daily by feet & hands then sits to macerate on skins for 5 months, Basket pressed off skins back to Amphora allowing it to settle before hand bottling on a bright sunny fruit day.

Profile: On the nose, the typical character of the Barbera grape is predominant: warm, mature and showing excellent acidity. Aromas of cherries, rhubarb, tobacco, liquorice, iron, plus balsamic and oregano notes. The first taste confirms our suspicions: a powerful freshness that will last in the bottle for years. A sprightly, flavoursome wine with fine tannins. Its alcohol content shouldn't be underestimated, but has absolutely no influence at all on the pleasure each sip provides.

Profile: Red Fruit, Herbaceous, Pepper / Spice, and Minerals

Process: They are whole-bunch co- fermented for three days before being pressed off into neutral barrel. The barrels are topped with Gewurztraminer. After several months ageing, the wine is racked and bottled without sulphur.
